Maybe one of the only times you ever feel put into place is when your family visits. Whether it?s an overbearing mother, doting father, or a pointedly opinionated younger sister; you have to deflect these feelings if you?re hosting this year. Here are tips to hosting your family this holiday season!

- Watch Your Tongue: No matter how heated things used to get; hold your tongue when playing host. Plus it?s bad karma to reprimand your guests.
- Stop and Shop: Make sure that the home is equipped with everything to make your family feel totally at home. Everything from different flavors of soda pop to enough blankets for those staying the night.
- Calendar Blitz: Make your other life disappear; family is here. Hang with family instead.
- Entertainment: Thanksgiving is a day of food, family and football. Make sure you have plenty of seating around the television for the day?s games.
Holidays are great and even better when you spend them with your family and friends. So, if you will be hosting, make sure you are ready to go!
